Well My Heatherns, It has been one full revolution around the Sun, "Since the incident" with Mexican and the F150 on Main Street....The one where he said "I did not see them"... The one where we got T-Boned doin 20 mph. The one that almost took my left leg... The one that set in motion 40 total days in Yale New Haven Hospital, 7 surgeries, 8 pints of blood(The Rock n Roll oil change), lots'a Morphine, new friends made and old ones affirmed....My Girl Miss P by my side with the help of Picture Steve, Crew and others..5 months on my back watchin the Sun come and go.... It has been one Hell of a chapter in the Grand Adventure that is my life... Learnin to walk all over again, surprisin Dr B with my progress... The help received from others, some I have just met, some I've known for awhile...You all know who you are..It would take me two days to list everyone...The loss of my good friends Poodie Locke, Rusty Weir, Joe Scrivano.... RIP...It has been one Hell of a Revolution around the Sun... One "Really Good" year...Poodie always said "No bad days".. I believe in that...Every day is a good one no matter how fucked up things get....I have nothin but Good Days and Better Days... None of us gets out of the Grand Adventure alive, so live each moment as if it is your last. It just might be... If I have learned anythin from this it is just that...It might be your last and there are no do overs.... No sense bitchin or whinin about how fucked up the insurance laws are now, they just are...Won't get anythin out of this, not enough coverage on his part...I still got my leg, a little crooked and painful but still mine.... The World still goes around the Sun and I want to go along for the Ride as long as I can..  Look, like him or not, he is the President of the United States of America, elected by a large majority of the voters. Where were all these shouters when G W Bush took us into a sovereign nation to depose a sitting leader??  I know he was a dictator and a bully, but the previous administration and the UN had pretty much rendered him harmless...Now we are still there, still getting our boys and girls killed and we still haven't gotten the dirt bag that started it all....Our economy is in the dumper, my COBRA insurance is $540 a month, I struggle to come up with that, and the insurance industry and far right don't want to let Mr Obama and Congress fix the problems with Health Care...I say to them come walk in my shoes then tell me how me it won't or can't work...It does not work now....Why can I buy Auto insurance for $800 a year, $100.000.00 liability, but my health insurance cost over on fourth of my income...Hmmm....Every other Industrial Nation in the World takes care of its People and "WE THE PEOPLE" have to suffer?   Hmmmm... Let Rush shout his stuff loud enough and people start to believe it...BS all of it...Don't even turn FOX on...It is time to take care of our people. Enough of the crap, filter thru all the ideas, left and right, and come up with something that works...Health insurance=auto insurance? Health credit card, pay back only what you use? Maybe it could work and not cost the Gov't any thing...I don't know...I do know it needs to be fixed...I support the Pres in his efforts to bring about change...Nuff said

Why is it people can say they are listenin and turn around and say shit that proves they were not payin attention at all and did not comprehend what they were supposed to be listenin to. Got the answer all ready to go before the question is finished....Hmmmmmmm...Blah, blah, blah de blah.......

Well, The Really Big Shoe, has come and gone....Not as big as we would have liked but a success after all...We made our nut and a couple hundred bucks. Could not have asked for a better day...Weather was perfect...I would like to personally thank all those that came and those that helped out...Your support is most help full.. It is not easy bein in this position, gimped up, out of work, lookin for work and not much  out there...As stated in an earlier blog, the F*ck up that hit me is under insured....The bills are high and life must go on...We will be doin this show again and it wil grow... The response from the folks that came was good...Like I said we will do this again....Stay tuned for more and yes I will do better about postin more often, after all I do like to talk, just ask anybody that knows me.....Have yourselves a "Smokin Good Day"

I have not had much to say lately...Thinkin about some things that Piss Me Off...I'm thinkin that people need to mind their own biz before they worry about mine...Miss P, Picture Steve and I go to the Stonewall Tavern on Wed nite for $1.00 Tacos and Coronas or Willi Brew and share a meal..Gets back to me that we are spendin big bucks in the bar...Wish you would come talk to me before runnin your mouth who ever you are...Man up and let's discuss this...Oh that's right, you've got no spine....Let me see....Nov 23rd we get hit by an asshole in someone elses truck...Hmmmm....I get sent to Yale New Haven and 7 surgeries later I still have a leg....A gimpy one one but mine just the same...
Miss P fractures her knee cap but is otherwise OK...I lay on my back for close to 5 months while the leg mends and my Dr says I can go back to work light duty...The insurance is no where near enough to cover the bills.....So now we go out one night a week for cheap meals and a couple of beers and we are "Big Spenders". We are both still unemployed and lookin for work...Hey mouth, wanna trade places?...Ok, I'm pissed......Later

just went to Austin to honor Poodie Locke, long time Brother of the Road who passed suddenly, no long ago..The turn out was really great and a lot of money was raised....He will always live in my heart and thoughts....The rest of the time was spend re-connectin with Family and Friends and lookin for work....Old Sound Guys never give up doin what we love...We just go deaf...lol...Brought a little rain to Central Texas, not enough I know but at least I tried...Brought some Sun fron Tejas to the Northeast for a couple of days...Hey I tried...As trips home tend to be this one was not long enough...Did not get to see many of the folks I wanted to and I am sorry...Got to go TCB so will get back at you later.....Peace

Started gettin calls from 213-430-4298 this mornin....Googled the number and found hundreds of reports about this number...IT IS A SCAM, DO NOT ANSWER... REPORT TO FCC....I am on the do not call list and don't know where they got my number...Will not answer ever....  Just somethin else to piss off the World..More greedy bastards tryin to milk us....Wish they would be prosecuted and put away for a long time....Sad to say, but there are people so desperate that they will prey on others for for a minimum wage phone job, sittin in a cubicle 8 hours or more a day, and try to get us to give them money...

Time to sacrifice a couple of virgins, cook some meat, drink some bread in a bottle(beer) hang out by the River with good friends and family...Yes folks it is happenin again...The Longest Day of the Year, the First Day of Summer, the Last Day of Spring, yes the days are goin to be gettin shorter from here on so I'm thinkin we get busy livin our lives and not let anythin go by, take the good with the bad and pay forward when given the chance... Screw the lenders and pay cash or barter for goods and services... They don't give a shit about us so we should not be makin em richer... Take back our country from the bottom up...Take away the leverage that we have givin to them. Not that it really matters to me...Just another day to an unemployed Sound Guy with a gimpy leg and a bent Motorcycle...Monday, Friday, Sunday all the same, no particular place to be. Not whinin just sayin....Life in general is good...Leg is gettin better and lots'a events to attend...Went sailin with my good friend Tony Costa, Captain Jew and Mike Potter the other day...Miss P had a great time and so did I...Needed that...Thanx guys....Lost some good friends in the last few weeks.. Now that the test is done we can get on the biz of sayin what we want......I just want to say thanx to everyone in my life who has been there for the past few months of Meat Grinder hell...It is not over yet....Everyday is a new day and there are no bad daze...The leg is healin and I can walk, with a limp and not to far, without a cane or crutch.... My main gripe here today is the same one I've had for awhile, INSURANCE LAWS THAT SUCK.. Any idiot can get a license to drive and with liability of $10,000, go out and maime, cripple or kill people. As anyone who been to hospital lately knows, THAT DON"T  COVER SHIT!!!
Please talk to , email or otherwise write to your elected officials and work to get the minimum up to at least $250,000 liability, $500,000 uninsured motorist...The guy that owned the truck, driven by the guy that almost took my leg and gimped me up for the rest of my life, had what he thought was good ins at $100,000 liability...Well let me tell you again THAT DON"T COVER SHIT...At this point I am around $500,000 dollars into this journey and it over yet. The insurance co will pay me $100,000 and because my health ins is "self funded" I have to give it all to them...Sweet, huh?
Heres another idea...Why does this country allow insurance companies to charge so much for health ins?  Members of the Federal Gov't not only get paid to much they get Blue Cross...Why don't "We the People" get the same treatment at the same cost?  Hmmmmmm.... Sucks don't it?...
